Anger, worry, frustration, sadness, grief and other emotions that I don’t know how to articulate have fuelled this painting. Saturday 15th April, conflict erupted in Sudan between the RSF and the SAF with innocent civilians caught in the middle. This is a humanitarian crisis that is still unfolding with constant changes. The Sudanese people in the country and in the diaspora have constantly showed up for its people! An example would be how evacuation procedures were solely organised over social media!!!! Our love, care and duty for our family, people and country is what unites us.
